Learner Involvement Strategy

Learner InvolvementThe main aims of the JHP Training Learner Involvement Strategy are to:

  • Communicate strategy and tell learners how they can become involved
  • Gather feedback from learners on the services we provide
  • 2011 JHP Group Learner Quality Questionnaire Published
Download the analysis of the key findings and recommendations here

  • Give learners "a voice" in helping to shape the programmes and activities of JHP Training
  • Use feedback from learners to improve our services
  • Improve levels of learner satisfaction
  • Communicate outcomes as a result of learner involvement
  • Link the Learner Involvement Strategy with our Equality and Diversity strategies

As part of the strategy, we will continue to review our approach to gathering feedback from learners to ensure that the range of programmes and sectors in which we offer training are represented. The plan below has been developed to support our strategy with activities, planned outcomes, responsibilities and timescales. We have tried to ensure that all actions are easily measurable, so that we can evaluate and monitor our progress effectively. The plan will be made available to staff and learners at our business centres. Progress against the plan will be clearly communicated, internally and externally, to key stakeholders to ensure that the process is transparent. An annual review of our strategy will take place, linked to the SAR, and the "learner voice" will be embedded in this activity.
