Employability Skills Programme

Employability Skills Programme is available if you are aged 18 or over and are not in full-time employment or education.

If you're looking to kick-start your career, it is essential that you know what employers are looking for.

The Employability Skills Programme will highlight the key qualities employers are searching for. It will also cover how to look for work, complete successful job applications and ensure that you are prepared for interviews.

What's Involved?

How you Employability Skills Programme develops is entirely down to you, the course will be tailored to suit your needs.

Just some of the options you can include in your Employability Skills Programme are:

• Updating and enhancing your CV
• Practice interview skills
• Opportunity to take part in job placements to give you a feel for the type of career that is right for you
• Develop your Maths, English and communication skills
• Update your knowledge of the local job market
• Up-to-date information on health and safety at work
• Develop your time-management and problem solving skills

Every three weeks you will be invited to attend a progress review to ensure that you are getting the most out of the programme.
