Adult Apprenticeships

JHP Training is now pleased to be able to offer Apprenticeship programmes to over 25s.

Following the same format as standard Apprenticeships, Adult Apprenticeships are structured around three elements:

  1. NVQ

    "Competence based" qualification achieved through on-the-job training.

  2. Key Skills

    Covering a wide range of essential skills relating to tasks carried out on a daily basis in everyday life, as well as in the workplace. There are six Key Skills: Communication, Application of Number, Information Technology, Working with Others, Improving Own Learning and Performance, and Problem Solving.

  3. Technical Certificates

    Aimed at developing skills and knowledge in the technical aspects of jobs. Complementing the other areas of the Apprenticeship framework, Technical Certificates focus on job theory and helps learners acquire valuable skills useful to the daily function of a job role.
